JoAnn Dennis, 79, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born December 6, 1935 to Frank and Ruth Montenguise in Des Moines, Iowa.
JoAnn graduated from North High School and worked in circulation for the Des Moines Register for 28 years. She enjoyed crafts, listening to music, cooking, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Montenguise; nephew, Dale; niece, Melissa; brothers, Frank, Jim, Al and Joe; and many great-nieces and nephews.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Jerry and Anthony; and sister, Josephine.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
