Betty L. Tarr

Betty L. Tarr, 90, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Hospice Care at Fountain West Health Care Center.

Betty was born February 19, 1925 in Des Moines. She retired from the State of Iowa in 1988 after 23 years of service.

She leaves her children, Larry Tarr and his wife, Nancy, Nancy Ruby and Dale Tarr; brother, Don Lincoln; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Tarr in 1962.

A private family service was held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway.
