LeRoy "Bunny" Wheeler

LeRoy A. Wheeler “Bunny”, 78, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 26, 2015.

LeRoy was born June 5, 1936 to Oscar and Mildred Wheeler. He married Barbara Albo on October 16, 1960. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching western movies, working on cars and had a true appreciation for classic cars.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Diane, Debbie (Gary) and Darlene; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends. He will also be missed greatly by his loving beagle Daisy May and Snickers.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth; his parents; brothers; a sister; and his loving dog, Buddy Joe.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
