I taught at Tech High with Mish and met Polly through school functions. I was always envious of the gourmet lunches Polly packed for Mish each and every day. The love she packed into those lunches for Mish was wonderful.

I always loved Polly. She was so kind and helpful to my father when he was disabled and lonely. I know he considered her one of his closest friends. I always try to stop by and see her when I am in Des Moines. The last time I saw her she said she was ready to go and be with Mish. I shall miss visiting with her but I know she's at peace with Mish at her side.
