Service Details
Johnny Ray Strable, 61, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with memorial service to begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Johnny is survived by his brother, Harrison (Loni) Strable, Jr.; brother, Jack (Susan) Strable; brother-in-law, Dale Campbell; and many other loving relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison Sr. and Constance Strable; sister, Janice Campbell; and brothers, Jerry and Jim Strable.

Heaven gained another Angel. I had known John for over 30 years and he always brought a smile to my face everytime , I seen him. I remember him teaching me how to fast dance when I was 18 at the "tavern" . John never met a stranger and loved to talk. I know when Jan passed away, your heart was broke as you told me several times but now you are reunited. Rest in Peace my lifelong friend, going to miss seeing your smiling face. See you on the other side!!! Love you always ??

I am sadden to hear of the death of John Strable. I knew him since 2002 upon moving to Uplift Manor. He was a great friend. Praying for comfort for your family.
