Richard “Dick” Johnson

Richard “Dick” Johnson, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 28, 2015. He was born January 26, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Linda DeFrancisco, Mary Ann Alexander, and Debi Johnson; grandchildren, Richard DeFrancisco, Michael Long, Shannon Johnson, and Sara Johnson; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Johnson and Bobby (Bev) Johnson; and other loving relatives and many special friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marjorie; and his parents, Guy and Anna (Chittenden) Johnson.
Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 2nd at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I was so sad to hear of Great Uncle Dick's passing. He was so fun-loving and we always had a good time when he came to visit Grandma Alice (his sister) on E. 39th Street. Much love and condolences to our family in Des Moines.
