Rose, 76, was born January 26, 1939, to Frank and Theresa Grguric in Yugoslavia. She passed away at Fountain West Nursing Home on Saturday, July 25, 2015.
Rose was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, and spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her children, John (Deb) Grenko, Marilyn (Don) Cole, Joseph Grenko Jr., Andrew Grenko, and Mary Grenko; sisters, Theresa (Anthony) Pragovich and Margaret Smolik; grandchildren, Ashley (Kirk), Maggie Jo, Katie, Olivia, and Lindsey; great grandchildren, Sean, Natalie, and Kaleah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Theresa Grguric; husband, Joseph Grenko, and grandson, Jonathan Grenko.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Cancer Connection of Iowa in loving memory of Rose.

Grandma, you will be in my heart! Thank you for teaching me how to crochet. That will always be one of my hobbies and I will always be thinking of you when I'm working on a quilt, scarf, or wall blanket. Thank you for all your love, family stories, and just random talks we had. Love you, Grandma! <3
