I remember Jim from our high school days in Des Moines. He and I were not teammates as I went to North High. However, we did compete against each other often and I found him to be a hard nosed talented competitor on the field and court but an absolute "good guy" off. It is sad to hear of his death and his family has my deepest sympathies.
