Judith Jean Berlin

Judith “Judy” Jean Berlin, the daughter of Gunnar Alexis and Erma “Maxine” (Carlson) Berlin, born March 28, 1939 in Des Moines, passed away on October 4, 2015 in Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved step-father, Francis A. Budrevich; and her twin sister, Jeanette who died at birth. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Ann Akers of Bowie, MD, four nieces and one nephew.

Judy lived most of her life in Des Moines, in the care of her mother; and Indianola, in the care of Murphy’s Guest Home. Her final years were spent in the loving and compassionate care of Abby’s Assisted Living in Denver, CO. Judy had a joyful and adventurous spirit. She loved animals, the men folk, and going out to eat.

There will be a viewing at Hamilton’s Funeral Home (605 Lyon St.) on Thursday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Glendale Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
