Deborah Erickson

Deborah Leigh Erickson, devoted mother and treasured friend, passed away peacefully, Wednesday October 7, at her Des Moines home after an 8 year battle with ovarian cancer.

Deb was born November 23, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to Nancy and Norman Erickson.

Deb graduated from Drake University with a degree in psychology. She went on to work independently as a psychologist with a passion for helping the youth.

Deb was an avid reader, and a dedicated mother to her daughter Ariana. She radiated love and light everywhere she went, and will truly be missed by all.

Survivors include her daughter Ariana, her mother Nancy, sisters Linda and Mary, and niece Ciara.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 11 from 5-7 p.m. at All Saints Parish. The funeral will take place Monday, October 12 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Parish with Father Harris.
