Christopher "Chris" Fraser

Christopher “Chris” Fraser, 53, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Kavanagh on 56th.
Chris was born June 14, 1962 in Des Moines to Richard and Judy (Pendry) Fraser. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981 and attended William Penn University and DMACC. Chris was employed by Bemis Company, Inc. (formerly American Can), for over 25 years. He enjoyed golfing and working on cars. Above all, Chris loved and cherished his family.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Kim; daughter, Amber (Nathan) Phelps; siblings, Carol (Kirk) Jones, Julie (Todd Schmitz) Fraser, twin Neal (Allison) Fraser, John (Renee) Fraser, Jan Fraser and Eric Fraser; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Chris will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

My thoughts & prayers are with your family. I was Chris's supervisor for several years at American Can (Bemis). Chris was always a Great guy to have on our team.His work ethic and sense of humor doing tough tasks was routinely on display.
Feeling bad that Prior commitments prevent my attendance at services for Chris.
