Tuan Lam

Tuan Ngoc Lam, 46, was diagnosed with stage four cancer at the beginning of August. He underwent intensive treatments, but the cancer was too advanced. Although he fought courageously, he passed away Monday, October 12, 2015.

Tuan was born September 9, 1969 in Vietnam. He came to the United States in 1990. Tuan was an incredibly hard worker. He was a very patient, genuine and kind person. Tuan was a good hearted person and will be missed, but the family knows he is in a better place.

Tuan would go to work Monday through Friday, then after work would spend his time helping his family with gardening, housework, or anything else they needed help with. He would never say no to anyone in need. He was the most selfless person and the world would be a better place if more people were like Tuan.

Visitors may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 18 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
