Gerald Lee Morgan, Jr.

Gerald Lee Morgan, Jr. “JJ”, was born August 8, 1972, in Des Moines, Iowa to Sandra Louise Bennett. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

JJ loved his family, friends, music, playing bones with his Uncle Gary at the woodpile, and Facebook. He was an avid Steelers and Yankees fan. He spent most of his time with family, friends, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Reidburn; children, Tyler “Jay”, Brittney “Nicole” (Guy), Richie, Justice, Katabri, and Izaylia Mae; grandchildren, Elijah, Adrian, and Quinton; mother, Sandra Louise Bennett; sister, Tracy (Clay) Gilge; brothers, DJ “Moby” (Amanda) Bennett, Chester Morgan, Ricky Smith, and Shawn Michael Fraas; nieces, Suzie (Julious), Ronnie “Elizabeth”, Jessica (Anhtuan), and Kaelyn; nephews, Caiden and Jayden; as well as many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandmother.

Services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Lee Town Assembly Church, 2720 State Street. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
