My Uncle Frank was always hugging us as kids and adults. I can still picture him asking how I am doing and trying to make me laugh. I remember how he liked his popcorn and push-ups, rook and dominoes. Can't wait to see him again! Love and prayers to his family!

My Uncle Frank was always so sweet and friendly and loved being around people. He loved playing games, going fishing, building little cars or doing some wood working project. You are now in heaven and someday we'll see you again. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Carole who has been by his side thru this terrible disease and to my cousins Mike, Carol, and Jon and all the rest of the family.

Frank and Carole were perfect for each other and I shall always remember Frank's humor and gregarious nature during his time at King's Pointe in West Des Moines.
He loved life and people! I so enjoyed making him a quilt for his outdoor theme room and seeing him receive the quality care that all our veteran's deserve at the Veteran's Home.
Thank you for being a wonderful friend to all. Rest in peace, my friend.

I met Frank at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Arizona in 1955. We became best friends as we attended Palmcroft Baptist Church. Frank married Patsy Coplen, and I married her sister Marian, whom we met at church. Our children were close to the same ages and we did a lot of things together. Growing in Christ meant a lot to our two families. Frank was always very friendly and everyone loved him. After Patsy died in 1993 after a long illness with diabetes, Frank met and married Carole in 1994. We had a lot of good times together with him and Carole, especially when we both lived in Pinetop Ariz. Carole has been a loving and caring wife.

We have fond memories and loving thoughts of meeting Frank on several occasions! The most recent was several years ago at a camping trip in Colorado with Joe and Carol Drbohlav. He was a happy and jovial man to be around! Thoughts and prayers go out to the family during the grieving process.
