I am saddened to hear of Scott's passing. He was a student of mine at Woodside Middle School. I remember him as a young man with a good heart. I was able to see him and his dogs perform at the Pet Expo a few years ago. It was awesome and still makes me smile! You have my deepest sympathy.

We were so shocked to see Scott's obituary in today's Register. We trained, day cared, and boarded our yellow lab, Sophie (who left us at the end of May last year) for several years. Scott and Renee were wonderful, caring trainers to whom we will always be grateful.

Dear Renee, I was very sad to hear of Scott's passing. I always admired both of you for your passion and commitment to your work- which probably never felt like work really. I am still at Iowa Beef. Thinking about you in your loss.
