It's hard to say how I felt when I heard just now of Doug's leaving his earthly home. Shock and sadness are only the beginning of what I'm feeling. I'm glad I got to know Doug when I met Rick back in 1961. Praying so long for Doug's recovery here on earth, yet the LORD still chose to heal him by moving him in with Him in His house. Heavenly Father, I ask that you let your presence and love be felt by all who know Doug, and comfort them with the Truth that though his body has passed, he is very much alive and well and living with you. And that those who know you will see and live with him and you for all eternity. Holy Spirit, I ask that you bless each of them with your presence, and a special blessing of comfort and love for his daughter Ashley, and for Harriett. ("Mom")
