Ratanasone Fongdara, 48, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016. She was born to Koingtub and Ranat Chareunsab on July 7, 1967, in Laos.

Ratanasone is survived by her husband, Orathay; daughters, Sammy Fongdara and Linda Fongdara; mother, Ranat Chareunsab; granddaughter, Minny Sithonnorath; sister, Ratanaseng Chaikouang; and brother Apon Chareunsab.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will take place at 9 a.m., Monday, February 15th at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Ratanasone.
