Bethane Barber

Bethane Mae Barber, 94, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. She was born October 8, 1921 to Clyde and Hazel Ridgeway in Coon Rapids, Iowa.

Bethane enjoyed family, friends, games, bowling and an active faith life.

She is survived by her son, Peter J. Barber Jr. (Andrea L.) and granddaughter, Gina M. Barber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Ross Harvey, husband, Peter J. Barber and brother, Russell Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3615 University Ave., in Des Moines, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Following lunch, burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
