Marilyn was in my class of 1955 at St. Joseph Academy. I was kind of in awe of her in high school, loved her wit and her wisdom. Even though I'm "long gone" from Des Moines, I see what a leader she was and became through the years. God bless her loved ones. The memory of her vibrant personality remains with me.
