Jerry Robin (Bone) Lewellin

On Sunday, April 24, 2016, with his family by his side, Jerry Robin Lewellin (Bone), 47, went to fly free with the angels. He was born March 6, 1969 to Fred and Linda (Young) Lewellin in Des Moines.

Anyone that knew him knows he was a free spirit and liked to roam all over. Bone also loved to spend time with his family and friends whenever he could. He loved everyone with all his heart, especially his girlfriend, Dawn.

Bone enjoyed camping and fishing and could put a smile on anyone’s face at any time. He loved to joke around with his nieces and nephews.

Bone is survived by his brother, Terry (Lisa) Lewellin; sisters, Vicki (Steve) Pratt, Belinda Gomez, and Becky (Dan) Rinehart; long-time companion, Dawn Perry; ten nieces and nephews; seventeen great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Linda Lewellin; grandparents, Charles and Alene Young; uncles, Charles Young and Ralph Young; and a niece.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
