Barbara Ann Jordan-Williams

Barbara Ann Jordan-Williams, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2016.

She was born on July 27, 1960 to Willie and Lillie (Jordan) Ollie in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Barbara enjoyed baking cookies and dancing. She was happiest when surrounded by family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Barbara’s memory include her children, Santiz, Isacc, Candice, Renota, Diamond, Dominique, Billy, Darnell, and Quentrell; seventeen grandchildren; siblings, L.C. (Beverly), Robert, Maggie (Gerald), Laurrie (Mark), Tarina, Darnell, David, Arthur, Kevin, Angie (Patrick), and Marcus (Eyvonne); as well as many other extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines, with visitation of friends and family prior to the service, beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery. Repass will be held at Revival Center, 3816 36th Street, Des Moines, after the burial.
