Robert L. Johnson

Robert Lee Johnson, age 55, passed away at his home in Altoona Saturday, April 30, 2016.

Robert was born to Alfred and Beverly Johnson November 14, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family playing sports.

He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Beverly Johnson of Des Moines; son, Brent (Danielle) Farrell/Johnson of Carlisle; daughter, Desiree Johnson of Des Moines; sisters, Diana Johnson of Des Moines and Lynn (Todd) Omundson of Altoona; grandchildren, Leah and Jack Farrell; as well as all of his nieces and many relatives and friends.

Robert’s visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Graveside services will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 5.
