Molly was an amazing person and teacher! She taught my son her first year at Hillis. Although my son did not like school at all, he never complained about being there while he was in her class (that alone is a testament to her teaching ability and style).
Molly would always come talk to us, ask how everyone was doing and was genuinely interested in our family. She will be missed by many people.
Our sincerest condolences to her family, and may God comfort you in your time of need.

Marlene, J8m, and Lesley, my deepest sympathy to you. Molly always had a smile on her face, making people wonder why she was so happy. I think it was because she knew God and had such joy in her life. May you find peace in Him, also. She will be remembered by so many. God bless you all.

My deepest heartfelt condolence to the Bushman family. I was friends with Molly when we were little kids, growing up in Urbandale. She lived a few houses down from me so I have many wonderful memories with her. We would get home from school and eat tons of icing and drink bottles of soda. We used to enjoy ourselves and play for hours on end. As people do, we lost touch through the years, but I never forgot about her. She had a welcoming spirit and she will forever be a part of my childhood memories. Im glad to hear Molly found her true calling in life, which was teaching. Im sure she touched many lives and will never be forgotten. God bless.

I was Molly's advisor when she attended Upper Iowa and earned her BA to become a teacher. I placed her for student teaching and promised the cooperating teacher she was a gem. She was a challenge, but at the top of my list of favorite students. I would say she was sassy, but will settle for feisty and someone I will never forget. Got to love Molly.

Jim, Marlene, and Leslie,
I am so sorry to hear about Molly. I keep thinking about her as a little girl and how much I enjoyed visiting with her. I remember one day when we were talking she told me she had a boyfriend. I asked her who it was, she told me it was God. She was such a special young lady. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Dad and I send our heartfelt prayers to all of you!!! God Bless Molly!!!

It's so painful to let our loved ones go. But the larger tragedy in life would have been never to have known, loved or cherished them. I know that no words can truly diminish your sorrow, but our thoughts and love are surely with you, Marlene and Jim. May God bless you and your family... now and forever.
