Hunter James Piper

Hunter James Piper was born on May 14, 2016. He lived for 4 days before being called back to Heaven. Hunter will be forever loved and remembered by his mom and dad, Emily and David Piper, his big sister, Halie, his twin brother, Holden, his grandparents, Paul and Margaret Meyer, Randy (Donna) Piper, and Ellen Piper, as well as many extended family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the NICU doctors and staff at Blank Children’s hospital along with the doctors and staff at Methodist Maternity.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, also at Hamilton’s, followed by a time for fellowship.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in Hunter’s name.
