Matthew David Stoll, age 39, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Indianola. Matthew was born on February 20, 1977 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Matthew graduated from Urbandale High School in 1996. He was a dedicated employee for Nationwide as a claims adjuster for 15 years. Matthew was an avid Hawkeye’s fan and enjoyed riding his Harley with his buddies. He lived his life to the fullest with humor and optimism, and a great love for family and friends. Above all, he adored his wife and kids and was a very proud father.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Erica; his children, Tyler, Dylan, and Ella Stoll; his parents, James and Carolyn Stoll; sister, Melissa Stoll (Brian Edmonds); mother-in-law, Danielle (Brian) Piercy; father-in-law, Randy (Debbie) Welch; niece, Trish (Dan) Lemons & family; and a host of other extended family and amazing long-time friends.

Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Stoll; and sister, Dani Rae Stoll.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at New Hope Assembly of God, 4425 70th St. in Urbandale. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, also at the church followed by burial at McDivitt Cemetery in Urbandale.
