Tajuana Banks, 36, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at her home in Des Moines.
Tajuana was born February 8, 1980. She was a member of Eliam Christian Fellowship Church and worked as an in-home care provider.
She is survived by her mother, Constance Jones; four children, DeAndre, Nakayhia, Janiah, and Jayona; brothers, Marcus Jones and Shawn Jones; as well as many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Jones and her father, William Banks Jr.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Elim Christian Fellowship Church in Des Moines.

My condolences to the Banks family on the passing away of your loved one. True comfort comes in knowing that God does not cause our death. Hebrews 2:14 tells us the source of death. May you be comforted in knowing that God (Psalms 83:18) hates death and promises to eliminate death forever and bring the dead back to life on a cleansed earth. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4; Acts 24:15)

Im so sadden to have hear this my heart is filled with so much sorrow and anger due to the fact that I want able to spend more time with you I met you a couple of times before and the first time that I have ever met you was in prison and you were coo as hell and a matter of fact you wad recently in jail and I was gonna visit you but I never got around to the point to write you so being sad I will see you in our other home above rih

Lord have mercy. I really don't know how to express my thoughts and feelings on Tajuana's passing. I'm really in shock right now. I've known her since 3rd grade. She just was a special and loving person. Always have been. God has got her now, I feel good knowng that. She can rest now.

Tajuana is my 1st cousin and i am in total shock that she is no longer with us,gone way way to soon! I shall see u again in the gates of heaven. You will always have a place in my heart- ALWAYS!! My newnew and boo will never b4gotten! REST IN PEACE MY DEAR COUSIN!!!!!

She was a good friend of mine and I can't believe she is gone but she is in a better place I am sorry for your loss and tell the girls that I said their mother will always be watching over them
