Service Details
Elaine Pearl Schnoebelen, 61, passed away August 18, 2016. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Grimes, IA.
Elaine was born July 29, 1955 in Des Moines, IA to Teddy and Maybelle (Blackburn) Rogers. She enjoyed reading, traveling, quilting baby blankets and spending time with her family. She was a customer service representative at Walmart.
Surviving are her husband, Michael; children, Sarah (Buck) Avey, Jeremy (Laura), Mark and Andrew; her parents, Teddy and Maybelle Rogers; siblings, Curt (Linda) Rogers and Ann Rogers; and her grandchildren, Conner and Claire Schnoebelen and Benjamin and Evelyn Avey.

Mike and family, you are in my prayers and thoughts. May you find comfort in knowing the truth about death. She sleeps now but will be resurrected when JC returns. In the twinkling of an eye at the Last Trump! I'm looking forward to that day too. Can't wait to see Dad and Mom. With much love. Bobbi

I have not seen you all for quite a few years but I have fond memories of Elaine driving all those students from Iowa down to Big Sandy, Texas. That car was so packed with students and luggage. Your family has always been willing to sacrifice to serve others.. Mike I know you will terribly miss your wife as will your kids their mother. You are all in my prayers.

Words cannot express how sorry we are to hear of the loss of Elaine. We cherish the memories of years ago when our children were growing up together. Elaine holds a very special place in our hearts. May God comfort you today and the days to come.
