James "Jim" Sparks

Jim Sparks, 60, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice.

Jim was born November 1, 1955 in Des Moines. He was a past board and active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #109. Jim loved spending time with his family and friends and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jim is survived by his son, James O’Brien Sparks; granddaughter, Londyn; mother, Louise Sparks; siblings, Debbie (Rick) Powell and Russ (Jules) Sparks; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Sparks; sister, Cheryl Bain Debolt; and his grandparents.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Avon Cemetery.
