Raymond Lee Steadman
August 25, 2016
Raymond Lee Steadman, 26, was born July 27, 1990 in Jefferson, Iowa. He passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016.
There will be a celebration of life from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Frisbie Park, 6101 Muskogee Avenue, Des Moines.
Raymond was a very hard working boy that really cared a lot about his family. He loved his music. He loved to draw things and work on things he thought he could fix, and really somehow, he did fix them. He was very respectful growing up. He was so much fun going on vacations also. He always seemed happy when around family. His mother says, “I wanted him to come in my door every day so he can put a smile on my face. He just knew how to make me smile when I had a bad day. He will be missed so so much. Love you, Bubba!”
Survivors include his father, Raymond (April) Steadman; mother, Nicki (Tom Wilson) Hull; sisters, Nicole (Steven Jensen) Steadman, Tabitha (Eric Augustine) Silbaugh, and Keeley Hull; maternal grandparents, Eldon (Peggy) Cunningham and Shirley Moran; aunts, Melodie Courtney and Brenda Becker; uncles, Tony (Kristy) Smith, Denny Smith, Mike Cunningham, and Jeff Cunningham; nieces and nephew, Lily, Jazman, Kyeo, and Trinity; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
