Christian Lucas Karpan

Christian Lucas Karpan became an angel of Heaven on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Christian was born on January 15, 2016 to Brandee Karpan and Dan Westrum.

Christian was a strong courageous boy and even though his time on this earth was brief, he made big imprints on the hearts of many.

Those left behind to cherish his memory, are his mommy and daddy; his siblings, Paul Karpan, Jr., Eric Karpan, and Summer Karpan of Melcher, IA; grandparents, Janie Kujaczynski of Washington, IA, Dana Binns of Knoxville, IA, and Tim & Pam Westrum of Granger, IA; great-grandparents, Gayle & Carole Binns of Knoxville, IA, and Dorothy Walker or Grimes, IA; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines.

Memorials may be made to either University of Iowa’s Children’s Hospital or Blank Children’s Hospital in loving memory of Christian.
