Laura Liggins

Laura Liggins, age 78, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 29, and funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 30. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Laura was born February 10, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Harry and Blanche Channon. She is survived by her children, Don (Teresa) Faber and Kelly (Chris) Hensley; grandchildren, Lori, Dony, Megan, and Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Brian, Kiara, Kiley, and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Liggins and her parents.
