Betty B. Proctor

Betty Bernice Proctor, 65, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 28, 2016 with her husband and children by her side.

Betty was born August 31, 1951 in Des Moines to Kenneth and Betty Lou Beck. She graduated from East High School. Betty spent her life as a homemaker caring for her four children. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, playing poker and the outdoors with her husband. . She loved spending time with her dogs, Bella and Lacy.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; children, Dino, Ronald II, Natasha (Michael) Daniels and Kylie (Jesse) Kirby; eleven grandchildren, eight siblings and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Michael Beck and sister, Candy Beck.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Betty will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
