Denise Plagman

Denise Plagman, 59, passed away on September 29, 2016, at Taylor House in Des Moines. She was born in Sioux Center, Iowa on May 26, 1957, Eleanor and Cornie DeGroot.

Denise enjoyed gardening and antiquing. She enjoyed spending time outdoors especially with her family at Lake Ponderosa. Denise was a horse enthusiast.

Denise is survived by her mother, Eleanor DeGroot; brothers, Larry, Rodney (Sondra) and Arlin (LaDella) DeGroot; stepson, Ryan (Chrystal) Plagman; step grandchildren, Zachary, Aiden, Camden and Keegan; a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Plagman and her father, Cornie DeGroot.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona. A funeral service will take place at 10 am, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Oolman Funeral Home, 216 Albany Ave. NE in Orange City, Iowa. Burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City, Iowa.
