Elizabeth Ann Belger

Elizabeth Belger, 78, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was born on November 9, 1937 in Scranton, Iowa. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Elizabeth enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and baking cookies.

She is survived by her loving children, Mike (Leanna) Belger, Tammy Belger (Phil Weatherly), Kim Belger, Ginger Robb, and Kevin Belger; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Leona, Linda, John, Patricia, and Priscilla; and a host of extended family members & friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Ray Thompson and mother, Stella Ann.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
