I'm so sorry to learn of Elinor's passing. We thought of our former neighbors often, and I kept in touch with Elinor for several years after we moved. Dick & Elinor were wonderful to our girls, and the girls were very fond of them. When my oldest (Melissa) visited the area about 10 years ago, she stopped by to visit with Dick & Elinor. I just learned of Elinor's passing this morning because my middle daughter (Becca) is in the area today. I was looking for a telephone number so Becca could call and possibly visit when I came across the obituary. Sending our prayers to Dick and the rest of the family. Dick and family, I offer prayers for your comfort following the loss of Elinor. Time may not always heal but it does ease the hurt. You have so many years of fond memories to keep Elinor with you forever. God bless.
Dick, if my name doesn't ring any bells, you were responsible for hiring me at Bankers Life (Gp E) in 1972 where I enjoyed the next 31 years.

To the Dick Meugniot families.
We are so sorry to learn of Elinor's passing. She was a fine lady and always fun to visit in her shop in Valley Junction. It also gave me an excuse to visit with Dick while Diana looked around the shop. Elinor will be missed by all who knew her.

Dick and family, I'm sure you do not need me to tell you what an amazing person Elinor was. I'm 38 years old and I've visited the shop with my mom since I was a little kid. I don't know how many nights I've slept in a car waiting for the shop to open, after one of you guys amazing adventures out east. You guys were so nice to my mother and to me. I remember Elinor or dick would always bring me some sort of candy in morning. Even a couple years ago my sons would go in to the shop with my mom ,and dick or Elinor would sneak them a dollar, needless to say they loved going there as well! What an amazing lady Elinor is and what an awesome partnership you were able to share. I was so sad to get this news. God bless you all.
