Margaret Hernandez Saville, 71, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Margaret was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 26, 1945 to Joaquin and Delores (Medina) Hernandez. She lived life to its fullest and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She liked shopping, painting, and doing crafts. Margaret worked with special needs people and enjoyed her job very much.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 34 years, Don; children, Joaquin Collins, Larry Hudson, and Tiffany Collins; grandchildren, Joaquin Jr., Katina, Taylor, Darian, Alyssa, and Calan; great-grandchild, Nevaeh; siblings, Virginia Dawson, Richard Hernandez, and Manuel Hernandez; and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Freddy Hernandez.
