When we heard of the tragedy today, we couldn't come to grips with the reality, so we came to your door and knocked, we tried calling and simply refused to believe it until we could talk to you. Then I found the newspaper article about the accident and his photo. I've cried and prayed all day. We keep reminiscing about his dance competitions, hearing him rev up the car engine every day, watching him tinker in.the garage, and hang out in the back yard with Jose and his friends. There are no words to express our sadness, disbelief, sorrow and pain that we are feeling. I know that Edwin was your world. You loved, protected and gave him everything he wanted. Why? It's so unfair.

Your Son, Edwin will always have a special place in my heart. He danced with our daughter, Jaynah at Van Cleve, I loved watching him dance and grow into adulthood. He was such a good friend and a good "Man". As you try to look through your sadness, I know that you are proud, as you certainly should be, he was one of the few good ones. And I know that I am proud to have known him as well. My prayers and deepest condolences to you, Edwin's family. May you find comfort from the this in the days to come. Sincerely, Kris Wright
