William "Bill" Cooksey

William “Bill” Cooksey, 72, passed away on November 30, 2016. A private service is planned.

Bill was born December 13, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to Anna Belle (McDaniel) and Willie Cooksey. Bill retired from City of Des Moines in 2005 after 32 years.

Bill is survived by three children: Pam Cooksey (Rick Scarr), Carrie (Tim) Neal, Gary Cooksey (Sheryl Leto) and two grandchildren: Jennifer Beall and Erik Scarr. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, JoAnna Cooksey, his parents and his brother, Charles Cooksey.
