Randy Bishop

Randy Eugene Bishop, 60, passed away at his home Sunday, December 4, 2016.

Randy was born May 12, 1956 in Des Moines to Doyle Jr. and Shirley Bishop. He grew up in Indianola. Randy owned and operated Car Fi and Security for over 30 years. He was also a great stereo man and made his living through music. He brought ingenuity and integrity to everything in his family’s lives and he will be forever loved and missed. Randy was fun loving and quite a jokester. He enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren.

Randy is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 41 years, Tracie J. Woods Bishop; children, Mia M. Bishop, Jennifer K. Bishop and Roxann J. Bishop-Zepeda; mother, Shirley Ann Kalbus; siblings, Rhonda Walker and Royce Bishop; grandchildren, Craig, Caralynn, Manuel, Evan Eugene, Anna and Jaxson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle E. Bishop, Jr.

The family will greet friends Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
