Duro Crncevic

Duro Crncevic, 50, passed away on December 5, 2016, at his home in Des Moines. He was born in Neum, Bosnia and Hercegovina, on July 16, 1966, to Duro and Mara Crncevic.

Duro was a devoted husband and father who cherished his wife and daughters. He loved surrounding himself with his family and friends.

Duro enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible whether he was gardening, raising chickens, or relaxing on his deck. He was also a gifted handyman and the best cook.

Duro is survived by his loving wife, Daliborka; daughters, Emina and Edina; mother, Mara; three brothers, Anto (Ana), Stjepan (Ruza) and Zeljko (Zora) along with other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Duro.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 7075 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines, with visitation to follow until 12:30 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Duro.
