Gloria Gary

Gloria Gary, 49, passed away January 3, 2017. She was born November 6, 1967, in Des Moines, to Thomas and Mary Ann Gary.

Gloria graduated from North High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand View. She worked at Berkley Technology Services as a programmer/analyst. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

Gloria is survived by her father, Thomas Gary; siblings, Laura Gary, Tom Gary, and Elaine (Scott) Ellis; step-siblings, Barb (Mike) Baker-Miller and Randy (Kris) Baker; niece, Adison Ellis; nephew, Ethan Ellis; as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann; step-mother, Pat Gary; and her grandparents, Allen and Irene Dittmer, Milton and Nell Gary.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Avenue with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary. A service of remembrance will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21st also at the church.
