Rosemarie Miller, 62, slid into home on February 18, 2017 at Taylor House Hospice.

Rosemarie was born June 21, 1954 in Des Moines to Joseph and June Miller.
She worked for Meredith Corporation. Rose was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church where she had served as President of the Board of Education, President of the Altar & Rosary Society, had been a religious education teacher and served in various other capacities as needed. She loved children and coached T-Ball for many years. Rose had a great love of baseball and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Rose is survived by her brother, Dan (Roxian) Miller; sisters, Carol Miller and Paty (Sean Snyder) Stanley; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Loretta Miller and Kathryn Miller-McLaughlin.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Prayer Vigil at 7 p.m. and the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery.
