Marlyn Rich, 74, passed away at his home February 21, 2017.

Marlyn was born December 5, 1942 in Brighton, Iowa to Max and Fern Rich. He served in the United States Army. Marlyn worked in construction most of his life and was most recently a concrete finisher with Huff Concrete. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, trading cars and he liked his “bling”. Marlyn also loved riding his motorcycles.

Marlyn is survived by his children, Marlyn (Robbie), Brian, Angela (Adam), Erin and Erika; mother, Fern; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max and brother, Joe.

The family will greet friends from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at Glendale Cemetery.
