Dennis Sowinski

Dennis W. Sowinski, 77, passed away April 24, 2017 at his home.

Dennis was born November 1, 1939 in Buffalo, New York to Casimer and Florence Sowinski. He retired in 2003 after working as a security guard for many years. Dennis enjoyed reading and was an avid baseball fan.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Cynthia (Donald) Danitz; nephews, Michael (Sheila) and their daughter, Darian, Brian and his son, Tyler, Kevin and Jason (Jennie) Danitz; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Dennis will be laid to rest at IOOF Cemetery in Indianola.
