Lillian C. Lyle

Lillian C. Lyle was born February 8, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Arnold Jr. and Ethel (Spivey) Lyle. She was a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy. Lillian worked as a CNA for many years at Valley View Village. She enjoyed traveling and had a passion for fashion. Lillian was always up for trying new things and had an adventurous spirit. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family.

Lillian passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the age of 66.

She is survived by her father, Arnold Lyle Jr.; her brothers, Arnold Lyle III and W. Bernard Lyle; and a host of other loving relatives and many special friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Lyle.

Family will begin greeting friends at 9 a.m., followed immediately by funeral services at 11 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial with military honors will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
