Robbie Huffaker, Sr.

Robbie Micheal Huffaker, Sr., 64, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Robbie was born June 5, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Bobbie and Gloria (Cox) Huffaker. He worked for the City of Carlisle as an electrician. Robbie enjoyed singing, writing, and reading his Bible.

He is survived by his companion, Sandy Hill; children, Shilo (Shawn) McVay, Robbie (Sarah) Huffaker, Jr., Bobbi Jensen, Tanyia (Michael) Brown, Shannon (Maricel) Lloyd, Chris Parmenter, Jessica (Tony) Johnson, and Shawna Presnall; 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Ellen Johnson, Linda Huffaker, and Cathy Stanley; and a host of other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kimmy Huffaker.

Family will begin greeting guests at 11 a.m., with funeral service at 12 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Collins, Iowa.
