Anne G. Lacey

Annie Lee Grinnell McMillan was born October 26, 1927, in Virginia to William and Nell McMillan. She passed away December 26, 2017, at Altoona Nursing Home and Rehabilitation of complications of Alzheimer’s.

Anne was united in marriage to Harold D. Lacey and they shared almost 52 wonderful years together until his passing in 2000. She had a great disposition, was loyal, and a friend to all. Anne loved her family, friends, Disney, romance novels and movies, cats and dogs, kittens and puppies, babies, sewing, and cooking.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Carol Lacey of Bondurant (John Neal) and Karen Norris of Altoona; her three grandsons, Travis Leaming (Nicole), Steven Bitters, and Todd Bitters (Danni); as well as 5 great-grandchildren and special friends, Bobby Weber, Betty Miller and Linda Vick.
