A few years later Patricia moved back to Des Moines Iowa, where her parents and siblings resided, to raise her girls and help with the family. She loved gatherings with her entire family. She traveled with the family on many occasions just to have Fun and loved to shop.

Many people think that the Food Trucks are a new thing, but Patricia was known to be a very good cook, and had her own Food Truck. Sister Patricia Woods was "Saved, Sanctified and Filled with the Holy Ghost and that with FIRE!" She was a true Prayer Warrior, she prayed all of the time and for anyone. Sister Patricia never met a stranger and was very eager to share God’s Word with others. She always encouraged others to go to church, invited them to go along with her; and even offered to pick them up. She was a very encouraging, positive, strong willed and determined woman. She never let much get in her way of achieving her goals.

She is survived by her children, Sameckia T. Oakley and Nukenia A.
