Pamela L. Poole

Pamela LaVonne Poole, 61, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at her home in Des Moines.

Pamela was born March 20, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Billy and Evelyn (Martindale) Poole. She dedicated many years to raising children – hers, yours, mine… of all ages. She never had an empty couch! She touched the hearts of many people because of her generous heart. Pam found great fun joining friends on the weekends, listening to bands, dancing and laughing.

She is survived by the love of her life, Tim Gibson; children, Brenda Beveridge, Heidi (Frank) Cochrane, Timmy (Jenni) Gibson; mother, Evelyn Griffin; brother, Danny; grandchildren, Ted III (Shelby), BreAnna and Billy Beveridge; great-grandchildren, Evangeline and Ethan Beveridge; and many extended family and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Billy; brother, Billy; daughter, Kelly; her great-grandparents; and many other loved ones.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pam will be laid to rest at Cory Grove Cemetery in Elkhart, Iowa.
