Lois I. Hanson

Lois I. Hanson, 95, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. Lois was born December 11, 1922 to Russell and Dollie (Bright) Warnock in Lineville, Iowa.

Lois is survived by her children, David (Dawn) Hanson and Lori (Eric) Adams; grandchild, Megan Weidner; brother, Carroll Warnock; and nieces, Linda Lewison and Twylia Rockhold.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2001; infant son, Steven; and her sister, Doris.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 600 6th Ave. Des Moines. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Food Bank of Iowa.
